We started this space together with a simple belief that art is for everyone.

We are Patricia Gallagher and Carly Gallagher, a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law duo brought together by a shared love of creativity, connection, and community. Patricia holds a Master of Fine Arts and has spent her life immersed in fine art and teaching. Carly is a serial entrepreneur who loves building warm, welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable showing up as they are.

When a small, charming studio became available in Downtown Melbourne, it felt like an invitation. We imagined a place where people could gather regularly, laugh, make art, and feel part of something. A place that didn’t require talent, training, or confidence to walk through the door. Just curiosity and a willingness to play.

We believe you do not have to be “an artist” to enjoy art. Art is about expression, not perfection. It is about the process, the people around the table, and the joy that comes from trying something new.

Patricia leads weekly step-by-step paint parties designed to feel more like hanging out than taking a class. For those who want deeper, focused instruction, Patricia offers private one-on-one lessons in both oil and acrylic painting.

Carly supports the experience as party hostess and handles the behind-the-scenes details that keep everything running smoothly, so the focus can stay on creativity and connection.

We also invite guest artists to lead special workshops, bringing new techniques, mediums, and perspectives into the space. Please reach out to us if you would like to host a workshop.
